Translating Science to Therapy
The Stem Cell Society Singapore is delighted to hold its 2nd Annual Symposium on 2-3 November 2010 at the Biopolis, Singapore. This follows the success of its inaugural symposium held in 2009. International and local investigators, from basic research to pharma and biotech companies will be present to discuss the exciting and promising applications of stem cell research to the understanding of disease development, the generation of cell-based therapies and the discovery of new drugs for the treatment of various diseases. The keynote address will be given by Thomas B. Okarma from Geron, USA and there will be 20-22 half-hour talks from international and local speakers covering the topics highlighted below.
